Job Description:
My client are a market leading contractor specialising in regeneration and affordable housing solutions in the North West region. The company is on a massive and exciting growth path, expanding all its operating regions, leading to new positions and a wealth of career development opportunities for employees.
As a result of their growth they are currently looking to recruit a Tenant Liaison Officer to provide customer care support on a Decent Homes contracts in the Plymouth area. As a Tenant Liaison Officer you will develop positive relationships with residents in order to provide information and support during refurbishment, maintenance and major works programmes.
Your main duties include:
" To visit tenants in their homes and to advise them on when and what work is being carried out and to act as the main point of contact with any problems/queries that they may have regarding said works
" Contacting neighbourhood housing associations and establishing working relations with them
" Visiting empty houses that are being refurbished with potential tenants and advising them on completion dates etc
" Attending and chairing tenant forum meetings to advise tenants who are not available through the day on what works are being carried out and to obtain their choices of kitchen and bathroom designs
" To monitor customer complaints and resolve any potential issues as quickly and efficiently as possible
" To monitor customer satisfaction to ensure that the work being carried out is to a satisfactory standard with the tenants
Experience required for the Tenant Liaison Officer/TLO
Ideally you will come from social housing background and have experience working with tenants on a daily basis. You will be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, professional approach, effective planning and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. In addition, you must hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel around the region.
Benefits/ Package for the Tenant Liaison Officer/TLO
The client offer a competitive package which includes a basic salary of between £15,000 - £17,000 dependent upon experience, the option of a company car/car allowance plus mileage along with a fully comprehensive company package after a qualifying period.
