Site Manager/Site Manager for Social Housing - Decent Homes Schemes
My client are part of a successful group with an annual turnover of £600million and a regional turnover of £56million. Due to ongoing success my client are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to work on social housing decent homes contracts in Plymouth. Typical projects include kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes, windows and doors replacements, central heating upgrades, rewires, disabled works including level access showers/wet rooms, disabled ramps, lift shafts, etc. You will be working to strict deadlines opening and closing an average of 5 - 10 properties per week.
As a Site Manager you will report to the Contracts Manager and will be responsible for profitably planning, managing and controlling all site based activities within budgeted expenses in accordance with contract documents and company policies and procedures. Duties will include:
" Managing a team consisting of a General Foremen, Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officer " Ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget " Monitoring health and safety on site " Attending progress meetings, client meetings " Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise

The successful candidate MUST have a proven track record of working as a Site Manager working for a Social Housing contractor working on decent homes contracts carrying out council house property refurbishments.
You will have the ability to make quick decisions and work under pressure. Good customer care skills are paramount as you will be working in live environments in tenanted properties (some void properties). Ideally you will come from a solid trade background, you MUST be fully First aid qualified (4 day course), hold a CSCS card (Supervisory or Site Management level) along with relevant H&S courses including SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness, Scaffold Inspection, etc.
The client offer a competitive package which includes a basic salary of between £30,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience, the option of a fully expensed company car and fuel card or a car allowance plus mileage, a bonus scheme up to 25%, pension, private healthcare and 26 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
