With work in Lancashire, Manchester and Cheshire this particular client is well renowned for developing projects up to £2M + in value. This business now has a turnover of close to £20M and has work in a variety of sectors.
The Project Requiring the Site Manager £2M + D & B
Several projects ongoing in the Lancashire region around Preston, Blackburn, Chorley and Blackpool make's this contractor a very busy proposition indeed.
The role of the Site Manager £2M + D & B
The right candidate will have substantial experience of managing projects in and around the £2M mark and preferably a mixture of these being Design and Build projects. You will originate from a traditional contractor and you will have a trade's background, ideally a joiner.
Typically you will manage the project from its inception including being involved from Design stages. You will be responsible for managing all the programming of works needed to be carried out on site. Ordering of materials will also be part of your role and dealing with sub contractors on site.
The projects you may be involved in will vary from residential, commercial, industrial, local authority work, medical centres and leisure facilities.
