Senior Estimator/Pre Construction Surveyor - Affordable/Social Housing
We are currently working in alongside one of the leading social housing contractors in the UK, and due to their expansion plans of doubling turnover within the next 3 years, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator/Pre Construction Surveyor, to be based in their Birmingham office, who is looking to take steps towards a managerial role.
Required experience of the Senior Estimator/Pre Construction Surveyor
A proven track record over a number of years in this type of role within the social/affordable housing sector is a definite advantage, although candidates who have dealt with projects in the residential and commercial sectors will also be considered. Formal qualifications such as a degree or HNC/HND in a related discipline are also preferable, but not essential.
The successful Senior Estimator/Pre Construction Surveyor will be able to utilise computerized estimating systems and will have experience working as part of a team, with the ability to act on their own initiative. Any supervisory experience would also be advantageous as the successful candidate will be expected to Spearhead the Pre Construction department within the next 2 years, in line with the companies' expansion plans.
