Job Description:
Role and Company - Maintenance Manager / Contracts Manager / Insurance Repairs Maintenance Manager
An exciting new opportunity to join a leading construction company in the UK. Working for their North West build and maintenance division, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and service coordinators in the reactive and planned maintenance, refurbishment and emergency repairs to a number of local and national businesses. Work carried out is on occupied premises and can range from a half a day minor repair to a full planned maintenance or refurbishment. Therefore, contract values range from £500 to circa £50,000.
You will report directly into the Operations Director and be responsible for maintenance contracts as well as reactive and planned local building works for the office. You will be responsible for attending appointments and liaising with the client, pricing up works where large contracts are involved , providing quotations, communicating and negotiating with the client, ensuring work is being carried out to schedule and the operational management of your team.

Ideally you will have a proven track record in maintenance at a senior management level. You could be working for an insurance company as a Insurance Surveyor or work for a building maintenance contractor. Ideally you will come from a trade background and have a good technical understanding. It is also essential that you have commercial experience and have been used to attending client premises, pricing up works, negotiating and providing quotations as well as manging a team of trades and labour ensuring work is carried out to schedule and hits key performance indicators on national accounts. You must be well presented, have excellent interpersonal and communications skills and be computer literate.
In return, you will benefit from a remuneration package that includes a Basic Salary of between £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience, Car Allowance of £5,500 or the option of a fully expensed company car, 25 days holidays plus statutory bank holidays, contributory pension scheme, private healthcare and death in service.
