Contracts Manager/ Maintenance Manager - Reactive/Responsive Maintenance An exciting opportunity to join a leading responsive maintenance contractor within the social housing sector for a £2m Void and responsive maintenance contract in Manchester. Role for Contracts Manager/ Maintenance Manager - (Reactive/Responsive Maintenance) A regional building maintenance contractor seek to appoint a Contracts Manager for a void and responsive maintenance contract with a leading Housing Association. The contract is valued at c.£2m per annum. This dynamic building maintenance contractor are well established company who turnover £40m. They carry out a wide range of response and repair to local auhtority housing within the North West. They work in partnership with a number of clients from RSL's to Housing Associations and Local Authorities. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of maintenance inspectors and direct operatives. You will oversee both the day to day operations and the commercial aspects of the job through ensuring budgets are being met at all times and minimising commercial risks. You must be IT literate and ideally have experience of working with PDA's or handheld equipment for issuing work to your team. They undertake several multi million pound contracts that involve a wide variety of building improvements to residential properties. This can include anything from an emergency leak to a full kitchen or bathroom replacement. They have an impressive expansion plan to double their turnover in the next 5 years and have long term frameworks to be able to deliver these results. Experience and Benefits for Contracts Manager/ Maintenance Manager - (Reactive/Responsive Maintenance) You must demonstrate a proven track record of the successful delivery of responsive maintenance contracts within the social housing sector, ideally with the past 5 years being based solely within this sector. This is a challenging project that requires an exceptional leader who can organise, delegate and head up contract operations of a £1m per annum contract. You must posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be organised and methodical in your approach to work. You will benefit from a comprehensive remuneration package which includes an annual basic salary of between £35,000 to £40,000 dependent upon experience. You will also be provided with the option of a company car or car allowance, private healthcare and annual bonus scheme.
