The Role/Company - Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing
A well established social housing building contractor seeks to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for up to 3 social housing refurbishment frameworks based between Carlisle and Warrington. This will be both an office and site based role so you will be required to travel between North Lancashire / Carlisle down to Warrington. You will be responsible for carrying out the full range of quantity surveying duties from take offs to managing the subcontractors to final accounting through valuations and variations. The contracts include external upgrading framework to local authority housing including roofing, rendering, garden walls and landscaping.

The Experience / Benefits - Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing
You must have a proven track record in quantity surveying within the social housing sector on planned maintenance frameworks. You must have excellent communication skills as the role will involve liaison with the client representatives. You must have a high degree of commercial acumen and good IT skills, essentially with Excel and any in house systems.
In return for you hard work, you will be remunerated with a basic salary of between £35,000 to £38,000 dependent on experience, company car or car allowance, private healthcare, contributory pension scheme, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.
