Plumbing & Heating Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Supervisor to join a North West based social housing building contractor. This is a well recognised and established building contractor who has been operating for the past 30 years. The company provides main contracting and subcontract services predominantly to the public sector which includes long term frameworks with local authorities and housing Associations to refurbish and maintain council properties to Decent Homes standard. This includes kitchen and bathroom replacements, central heating upgrades and rewires. Reporting to an Electrical Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing several installs a day across four to five Decent Homes schemes.
Duties include:
" Assisting the Contracts Manager in the day to day running of central heating installation contracts
" Site Inspections ensuring Plumbers are meeting legislation and company policy
" Delegation of work and organising labour
" Overseeing workmanship and quality control
" Health and Safety
" Ensure contracts are finished on time and to programme
The ideal candidate will be a time served Plumber and hold the full ACS qualification, CSCS Card and be City & Guilds qualified. It is essential that you have previous experience working in a supervisory or foreman capacity working on social housing tenanted properties.
Initially, this is a temporary position, the hourly rate will be £14 - £15 per hour + a company van.
For the right individual this will lead into a permanent position where you will be offered a basic salary circa £30k +company van and additional company benefits.
