Vacancy Description:
My client are a recognized shop fit out contractor who specialise in the retail, commercial, health, education, leisure and industrial projects. The company offer innovative interiors and exteriors fit-outs, major structural works, new build, project management and refurbishment solutions for Tesco.
They are due to start the roll out of numerous Tesco refresh's and will have a number of opportunities for experienced Site Managers to work on temporary contracts to start in mid February / beginning March.
Locations are Nationwide and will be released at a later date however digs/accommodation will not be provided so you must either be local or willing to travel.
You will be managing fast track refurbishments on 12 hour shifts - these will include both night or day time shifts.
You will be responsible for all site activities including management of the site, liaising with the clients, health and safety, ensuring works are carried out within programme and budgets, etc.
To qualify for this role you MUST have worked on Tesco stores before and ideally have completed a refresh store previously. You must have sound knowledge of Health & Safety on site and hold a relevant CSCS card, 5 Day SMSTS, valid First Aid certificate and Hot Works - FPA. If you do not currently hold the FPA you will need to obtain it before starting the contract as it is an essential qualification.
The timescales on each job are very tight and they MUST be completed within the Tesco timescale. Please only apply if you have experience in this kind of project.
There is an hourly rate available for both night and day shifts and continued work after the end of the initial project for successful Managers.
